dr. sc. Irides Zović, Library Director

After completing her studies at the Pedagogical Academy in Ljubljana, she has been employed in the Poreč City Library since 1986, which was part of the Poreč Open University until 2007. Since 1993, she has been the head of the library activities and the Library Director since its independence. She is the chairwoman of the Library Committee of the Poreč City Library, member of the publishing committee of the Istrian County and chairwoman of the working team for libraries for cultural strategy of the Istrian County. In 2006, she graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb – Department of Information Science. That same year she enrolled in a doctoral study at the Faculty of f Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. In 2008 she got the professional graduate librarian title. In 2011, she earned the title of Doctor of Science, defending her doctoral thesis “Development Model for Public Libraries in Cultural Tourism of the Istria County”. In 2015 she earned the professional title of Senior Librarian.

Zvjezdana Hrelja, bacc. admin. publ. and librarian

She has been employed in the Poreč City Library since 1998. She passed the professional exam for assistant librarian in 2001. She is a member of the Library Committee of the Poreč City Library and the Society of Librarians of Istria. After completing her studies at the Faculty of Law, at the University of Rijeka, in 2010, she earned the professional librarian title. She performs general and administrative tasks.

Matea Radolović, graduate teacher and Master of library sciences

After completing her studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka and teaching at elementary school, she started working in the Poreč City Library in 2005. In 2010 she graduated from the Department of Information Science at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zadar. In 2011, she earned a professional title of graduated librarian. She is a member of the Library Committee of the Poreč City Library and the Society of Librarians of Istria.

Ivana Legović, Croatian and Italian language and literature teacher and Master of library sciences

A Croatian and Italian language and literature teacher, she has been employed in the Poreč City Library since 2010. She is a member of the Library Committee of the Poreč City Library and the Society of Librarians of Istria. In 2012 she earned a professional librarian title. In 2014 she graduated from the Department of Information and Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and earned a professional title of graduated librarian.

Zorana Geržinić, Croatian language and literature teacher and a graduate ethnologist

At the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, she earned a professional title of Croatian language and literature teacher and a graduate ethnologist in 2011. After working in the Ethnographic Museum of Istria, she started working in the Poreč City Library in 2012. She is a member of the Library Committee of the Poreč City Library. She organizes, prepares and conducts weekly educational and creative workshops for the youngest members of the Poreč City Library.
