Before beach to Marafor

“Before beach to Marafor” is a cycle of summer workshops designed for kindergarten and elementary school children. The workshops help children to learn reading and art creativity to acquire specific knowledge and skills, encourage creativity and imagination, and enable self-confidence and positive self-image. The workshops bring together children, regular users of the Poreč City Library, as well as all interested children who are staying in our town during the summer months.

The workshop program, appropriate to the age of the participants and their abilities, aims to promote positive reading impacts from the early age. The stories that children listen affect their view of the world and help them dealing with various challenges in life. By reading, they increase their concentration and learn discipline. It extends imagination, develops the brain, and the child learns through stories about the world around them.
