Literary Meetings and Lectures

Literary meetings and lectures are organized in order to popularize and promote books and reading. There is a large number of events organized by the Poreč City Library, and the continuity of the visits points to the intensive function our library has in creating the cultural life of the local community. Since the beginning of the celebration of the Croatian Month of Book, we have joined the traditional national cultural manifestation devoted to the Croatian written word which aims to promote Croatian books and reading, while bringing together librarians, writers, publishers, cultural workers and numerous readers.
