Donating to the Library

The Poreč City Library welcomes donations of books as well as it encourages any kind of donations to support library programs. The Library is grateful to donors for all the gifted materials. In order to be included in the library collection the donated material must meet the professional criteria. The Library accepts materials that support the interests and needs of the community, and retains the right to refuse the gifts, especially if the donated material is already included in the library’s collection, if it is outside the framework of the library guidelines, if it is in poor condition or do not comply with the library’s existing procurement policy.

The donors do not need to send the material. Instead, it is desirable to send a list of the offering donations. The donation lists can be sent by e-mail, by fax or by contacting the librarians in the Poreč City Library and filling out the form with personal information and donation’s details.
